All Set For Lagos State Secondary Schools National Ludo Championship

Plans are on by TRS sports Academy to organise the maiden Lagos state Secondary School National  Ludo  Championship 

The competition with the theme empowering tomorrow’s leaders is aimed at channeling the minds of youths positively there by engaging them meaningfully during the holiday period 

The tournament scheduled for Wednesday July 17 at the indoor sports hall of the Taslim Balogun stadium surulere Lagos is expected to feature over 100 participants from different schools across the country 

Director  , TRS sports academy Tunde Sobowale said the championship is expected to bring back bonding in the family which the Ludo game is know for, using the students as the change agent for this purpose 

The Ludo game aside being a sport 

Enhances  focus, cognitive benefits

Social interaction, Memory improvement

Accessibility, Enhances  strategy skills

Improves  communication skills intergenerational play and Mental improvement

“Ludo is a perfect family entertainer , that helps improve emotional well-being helps to strengthen the immune system, which is essential for fighting off diseases. A happy home is a happy Nation . We are using this medium to call on corporate bodies to join forces with TRS sports Academy to to take the country’s sports to greater heights” Tunde Sobowale said 

Ludo  is a strategy board game for two to four players, in which the players race their four tokens from start to finish according to the rolls of a single die

Like other cross and circle games, Ludo is derived from the Indian game Pachisi. The game and its variations are popular in many countries
