Badagry DFA Boss Pledges Support To FEFCAN

Chairman Badagry Divisional Football Association (BDFA) Osondu Martins has pledged support to the Female Football Clubs Association of Nigeria (FEFCAN).

FEFCAN came into establishment this year where they had their Preseason tourney in May which was won by Unification Ladies.

Osondu said he will give FEFCAN his support and cheer to excel. He described the association as a noble one which the BDFA will partner with in establishing a women’s football league in Badagry in earnest.

” Just last week the Lagos state commissioner for youth and social development mobolaji Ogunlende charged BDFA to give same attention given to male football to their female counterparts

Hence we are partnering with (FEFCAN) to spread out tentacles in discovering talented players in female football .

To this end BDFA is working in tandem with the association to organise a women’s football league in Badagry so as to encourage more girls to play football in the community.” He said

The badagry divisional football association under the chairmanship of osondu martins has continued to churn out talented footballer from the series of tournaments organized

The Division league sponsored by RAK FOUNDATION is expected to commence at the weekend with 45 teams contending for the honor

Also the division is set to organises one of the biggest football championship in Africa , the rising star football league where the champion will go home with a whooping sum of 11 million naira and other consolation prizes

Aside this the competition which will feature 94 clubs from across Lagos state compete for honours will also reward individual brilliance at the end of the day
