NBB of C Commends Boxers Performance At Lagos Boxing Initiative

Secretary, Nigeria boxing board of control (NBb of C) Remi Aboderin has commended boxers who took part in the February edition of the Lagos boxing initiative tournament 

Aboderin said the regular engagement of the professional boxers in championships to put them in pole position for world tittle bouts The Lagos boxing initiative during the week held it’s first bout of the year 

The professional boxing championship featured 10 bouts which comprise of male and female boxers 

The essence to keep the boxers busy and give them a good record to face top opponents from any part of the world 

Pugilists at work 2024 was held at freedom park cambel street Lagos island 

In results of fights,  oghuvwu believe defeated adebayo olarewaju in the national light heavyweight challenge

In the national light welterweight contest Ibrahim taofeek out punched Ali shuaib 

Monyashua  muritador dismissed abdulahi Muhammed in the national cruiser weight challenge , lekan muibi had the upper hand over Waheed mojeed in the national light heavyweight challenge 

In the female bout , kudirat fatai lost to toyin adejumola in the west African boxing union Middleweight title 

Emmanuel abimbola beat jamiu akande in the national light weight challenge 

In other results, Salim rachid triumphed over akeem adekunle in the international light weight contest 

Rilwan lawal out punched ojo arabambi in the national featherweight challenge,  Hassan tiamiyu had the better of wasiu lawal in the national super welterweight contest and gbenga oluokun lost to kabiru towolawi in the national cruiser weight challenge

The bout was sanctioned by the Nigeria boxing board of control (NBB of C)
