Nigeria Football Supporters Club Expel Olarotimi Nojeem For Anti Club Activities

Members of the Nigeria football supporters club have expelled former vice chairman of the club Cote D’Ivoire chapter Olarotimi Nojeem for anti club activities

President general Nigeria football and other sports supporters club Rafiu Ladipo made this know at a well attended press conference held in Abidjan Cote D’Ivoire on Tuesday 

He said the former vice chairman of the club took advantage of the ill health of the chairman of the chapter Sunday Alabi to run the activities of the club unconstitutionally

” We established the Cote D’Ivoire chapter of the Nigeria football supporters club 32 years ago .we have had 4 chairmen who ran a successful tenure, now Sunday Alabi is the chairman with over 100 members who have been very active in running the club untill he fell I’ll for some time . Now he is  fit .

We have also gone to the Nigerian embassy here in Cote D’Ivoire to inform them of the expulsion of Olarotimi Nojeem and that Sunday Alabi is still the chairman of the chapter ‘ he said 

National chairman, Nigeria football supporters club Samuel Ikpea said the expulsion of Olarotimi Nojeem is part of the disciplinary measures put in place by the club for members who go against the rules and regulations

When asked on their plans to work with break away members he stated that the club has put in place a mechanism to bring the different factions  together 

” If you observe very well the era of singing discorded tunes is now a thing of the past we also sit together at the stands , that says we are gradually narrowing the gap to bring us  together as one big family to cheer our national teams to victory”  Ikpea said 

Chairman Cote D’Ivoire chapter Nigeria football supporters club Sunday Alabi commended both the president general of the Nigeria football and other sports supporters club Rafiu Ladipo and the National chairman Samuel Ikpea for their support and intervention in resolving the crisis that has rocked the chapter 

He said he won’t be vying for any position in the election billed in 2 months time in Abidjan 

He stated that a new executives will be elected to run the affairs of the club which has been know to be very vibrant in the west African region 

The Cote D’Ivoire chapter of the Nigeria football supporters club was founded in 1992
