Shukurat Kareem Eyes World Titles

Current Lagos governors belt boxing champion shukurat Kareem has set her sight on becoming a world champion in no distant future 

The governor’s belt which is held every December 26th is the culmination of bouts of the monthly Saturday boxing show organized by the Lagos boxing Hall of Fame 

Shukurat Kareem of brightest boxing club ojo came out victorious over ojo Joy of owonikoko boxing club agbado in the female 57 kg challenge to be voted the best boxer of the year 

Shukurat  who Expressed  Joy in winning the belt for the first time  thanked her manager, CEO of de lads boxing promotion wasiu alabi for giving her all the necessary support to achieve the feat 

” My next plan is to become a world champion .I am grateful to chief executive officer of De Lads boxing promotion Alhaji wasiu Alabi for the support and encouragement, without him I doubt if my career would have blossomed , he is a good Man ” she said 

Boxing coach  Akeem Kareem  commended her for her resilience and focus right from inception while promising to continue to give her the support and encouragement needed to excell in the sport 

Shukurat is a fighter and has this never say die spirit .she has so much passion for boxing .Am also grateful to Alhaji wasiu Alabi for all his contributions since the day he discovered her .I pray God will continue to bless him “
